Suspicious of drugs

On Sept. 5, police went to Hannaford supermarket after getting a report of a “possible drug deal” going on in the parking lot. Police found no sign of any drugs.

Suspicious of scam

On Sept. 6, police took a report from a Glenwood Avenue resident on a possible phone scam.

Suspicious of intruder

On Sept. 8, a Central Street resident reported to police that someone had removed the screen from his window. The resident was concerned that someone was trying to break into the house. Police checked the house and found nothing missing.

Sept. 4

Alexander Pedroza, 19, of 44 Longley Drive, Harpswell, charged with theft by taking, theft by unauthorized use, violating conditions of release and driving without a license, on Brackett Street.

Jessica M. Rice, 34, of 65 Rochester St., Westbrook, charged with theft at Hannaford Supermarket.

Sept. 5

Stephani Mae Ferguson, 20, of 18 Teri Circle, Apt. 180, Westbrook, charged with violating conditions of release and driving with a suspended or revoked license, at Big Apple on Main Street. Also arrested was Brian C. Irish, 28, of 1 Woodbridge Road, Standish, on two warrants.

Jacob Townsend, 19, of Austin Street, Westbrook, charged with failing to register a vehicle for greater than 150 days, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, at Amato’s Sandwich Shop on Main Street.

Herbert H. McGilvray, 43, of 78 Independence Drive, Westbrook, charged with driving under the influence with one prior conviction, driving without a license, and unlawful possession of drugs, at the corner of Main and Ash streets.

Sept. 6

Elijah K. Meserve, 19, of 4 Norwood St., Apt. 4, Portland, charged with theft and violating conditions of release, at Hannaford supermarket.

Misty Hanlon, 30, of 10 Fines Farm Road, Gray, charged with theft at Kohl’s on Main Street. Also arrested was Melissa M. Yargeau, 35, of 5E Lancaster St., Portland, on charges of theft, assault, refusing to submit to arrest or detention with physical force, carrying a concealed weapon, unlawful possession of drugs, unlawful trafficking of drugs, and possession of marijuana.

John J. Richardson, 26, of 44 Dearborn St., Westbrook, charged with driving under the influence with one prior conviction, and driving with a license revoked for being a habitual offender, at McDonald’s on Main Street.

Sept. 7

David M. McPherson, 30, of 78 Central St., Apt. 6, Westbrook, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, at Sigco on Spiller Drive.

Andrew H. Phelps, 40, of 1321 Bridgton Road, Westbrook, charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence assault, and terrorizing, on Bridgton Road.

Joseph R. Barbour, 40, a transient, charged with theft at Cumberland Farms on Main Street.

Carolyn Todd, 50, of 32 S. Casco Village Road, Casco, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license at Highland Lake Congregational Church on Bridgton Road.

Sept. 9

Nicholas J. Moir, 38, of 121 Smithmill Road, Standish, charged with habitual motor vehicle offender and possession of marijuana, at Dehler Animal Clinic on Larrabee Road.

Corey W. Vanbrocklin, 20, of 31 Rosemont Ave., Portland, charged with consumption of liquor by a minor at the corner of Park Road and Cumberland Street. Also summonsed on the same charge was Marina R. Urbano, 19, of 43 Berwick St., Portland.

Terri Richborn, 33, of 233 Buxton Road, Saco, charged with possession of marijuana on Cumberland Street.

A 15-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana at the corner of Main and Spring streets.

Jacob Moore, 22, of 263 West Bridgton Road, Bridgton, charged with theft at Kohl’s on Main Street. Also summonsed on the same charge was Tiffany Binette, 23, of 12 Marshall Ave., Biddeford.

Christopher Lewis, 33, of 42 Pleasant St., Apt. 5, Brunswick, charged with possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia at Riverbank Park on Main Street. Also summonsed on the same charge was Damian J. Thomas, 36, of 23 Locust St., Apt. 1, Westbrook.

Ashley N. Roberts, 21, of 124 Lewiston Road, New Gloucester, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license at the corner of Spring Street and Conner Drive.

Sept. 5

A 13-year-old was charged with unlawful sexual contact at Rite Aid on Main Street. No further details on the incident were released.

Sept. 6

Roger R. Gower, 45, of 62 Veranda St., Portland, charged with attaching false plates at Pratt Abbott on Main Street.

Sept. 7

Nathaniel T. Linscott, 20, of 526, Summit St., Portland, charged with consumption of liquor by a minor on Cumberland Street. Also summonsed on the same charge was Keegan Roma, 20, of 14 Alberta Drive, Westbrook.

Sept. 8
