Windham police seek Shaw’s suspect

WINDHAM – According to Windham police, there was an attempted robbery at Shaw’s Supermarket in North Windham on Saturday, March 16.

At about 4:30 p.m., a man entered Shaw’s and handed a customer service employee a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed and the man left without receiving any money.

The man is described as about 40 years old, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8-inches tall. He was wearing a blue jacket and a baseball cap with a logo on the front of the cap.

Police say the man was last seen heading on foot behind the store. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Paul Cox at 892-2525.
