To observe the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Society President Jim Carll will talk about the large acquisitions, the museum, the Johnson Saw Mill, the Taylor/Frey/Leavitt House and the Deering School House. Volunteers are asked to "help keep Alfred beautiful" by registering to clean up roadsides in town during the annual Town Wide Clean Up Day Saturday, May 9.
